I am Bosco d'Aligny, a theoretical physics researcher with a particular interest in statistical physics and quantum physics. I am currently working on topological photonics, open quantum systems and nonlinear quantum optics.
I am also the director of academic activities of « Le Lab Quantique », a nonprofit whose goal is to support the development of a strong quantum ecosystem in France.
My research
During summer 2024, I worked under the supervision of Prof. Iacopo Carusotto, and the team of Philippe St-Jean on topological photonics in synthetic dimensions:
- Chénier, A., et al. "Quantized Hall Drift in a Frequency-Encoded Photonic Chern Insulator." Physical Review X 16.1 (2026): 011020. (Open access)
I am currently working on the physics of quantum correlations in arrays of nonlinear cavities under the supervision of Alexandre Le Boité and Giuliano Orso at the MPQ laboratory.
Discover quantum
At Le Lab Quantique, I help students write popular science articles about quantum technologies:
Here are a few initiatives which promote research, collaboration and education in the quantum sciences field:
